How much did I spend this winter?

Hello, fellow Céline enthusiasts!

It’s the last day of February, and I haven’t done one of these reports in a while - so what better time to reflect on my latest Old Céline investments?

I’m currently on a shopping ban (don’t ask), so revisiting my past purchases feels like a reasonable way to cope. If I can’t shop right now, I can at least admire my past triumphs. (I don’t think buying Old Céline is my entire personality… or is it?)

As usual, most of my purchases are coming from Vinted, some from Vestiaire Collective, and I marked my favourite ones with one, two or even three exclamation points.

• Black jeans, Pre-Fall 2018 (I washed mine, they faded, and I needed a new pair in my wardrobe. The listing said size FR38, but they arrived as FR40, which is a bit too big… though they almost look like Phoebe Philo Drop jeans, so maybe that’s a win?) - €70

• Grey wool jumper, Fall 2017 - €99

• ! Red transparent mohair sweater, Pre-Fall 2017 - €85

• !! Light grey cashmere/wool mix sweater - swapped with my friend

• ! Black cashmere sweater with buttons, Pre-Fall 2017 - €80

• ! Brallete, Resort 2017 - €30

• White bib collar shirt, Resort 2018 - €60

• ! Adele sunglasses, Winter 2015 (which means they’re now 10 years old!) - €30

• Tortoiseshell sunglasses (same as I have in black) - €60

• !! Black beaded earrings, Spring 2016 - €100

• Slip-ons in black satin and slip-ons in black patent leather with fringe (for some reason, I really needed these in December, so I bought two pairs) - €45 and €35

And not to forget my birthday present and a longtime wishlist piece - Baroque earrings in natural stones, strass and brass with gold finish, Pre-Fall 2018, €500.

Last year, I bought a lot of skirts, only to realize that I’m still a trouser person - and that I don’t have enough (Old Céline) trousers to get me through daily life. So this year, my mission is to find as many as I can, and maybe even invest in a pair by Phoebe Philo.

But those leather trousers I found for €75? One of my best resale finds ever.

That said, I’m happy with every piece I find. And despite the fierce competition on Vinted - where good things sell out in seconds - I still manage to buy some gems! I always say most of my luck goes into finding Old Céline. :)
