I also think it depends a lot on the materials and craft of the item.. i.e. I've noticed I tend to wear boots more often than, say, high-heeled sandals, as well as wool instead of silk or a delicate fabric! I think each item is unique and has to be valued but also worn <3
But looking at pix of you inspires us to wear our pieces! You always look gorge x
