When packaging is an art

Last week I’ve read somewhere that not everyone enjoys unpacking content. I’ve done quite a lot of unpacking videos and have never thought about it before because for me unpacking is such a delightful process. But maybe that’s because I am a huge fan of packaging itself including branded paper goods and other related things. I keep everything and even looking at it makes me happier.

So what a nice moment to show you all the Céline things I kept and collected, all the lookbooks, boxes, posters! I wish I had full collection (especially the posters) so if you know someone who’s willing to sell - please let me know!!

Let’s start with packaging. Wrapping paper and paper bags. So simple and so beautiful.

Jewelry boxes have already became interior objects, but bags and accessories boxes are not less perfect.

Shoeboxes - yes, I am that crazy to keep them and I even brought them to Tel Aviv with me :) I don’t have a box from every pair, but every season I rotate my shoes to keep what I don’t wear stored (now it’s boots).

Now to the most interesting part, lookbooks! I have 17 lookbooks and I’m still missing several seasons but honestly my heart skips a bit every time I take them all out to see how something was styled on the runway or check what collection something was a part of.

Posters were sent as the Christmas gift to buyers and journalists so I’m extremely happy to have few of those, and also there were posters to celebrate openings of the new stores, and I have one like that as well and it also deserves to be framed!

And that’s how I keep all the tags. I still have the handwritten card from Erica when I bought Trapeze bag from her :)

Garment bags! Something that I immediately buy when I see one. Very nice to look at but also very nice to store more delicate pieces like dresses or blazers.

Céline invitations were incredibly beautiful as well, sadly I don’t have even one to show you but googling them is highly recommended!

And to prove that I’m not the only who’s doing that I asked my friends and fellow Céline collectors - Karolina, Rachelle and Fatima - to send photos of the Céline packaging that they’ve kept :)
